History and background
Distillery history and production
Maoi Distillery in Naganuma, Hokkaido developed from the former Maoi Winery project. Its official site says the enterprise adopted the Maoi Distillery identity in 2022.
The producer installed a hybrid still made by Forsyths of Scotland and began producing spirits including whisky, grape brandy and fruit brandy. Product maturity and currently available bottlings should be checked with the distillery.
