How whisky is produced
The Original Rye recipe contains 60% unmalted rye and 40% malted barley, highlighting the cereal traditions of Lower Austria. The spirit is distilled using copper equipment and matured in oak.
The broader family range also includes single malt made from barley and more mature rye malt expressions. Its original J.H. whisky is not a pure barley single malt.
