History

Captain Bligh's occupies a site with brewing history stretching back to the nineteenth century and the former Punshon's Brewery.

The modern Captain Bligh's business began beer production in 2014 and added whisky, rum and other spirits from 2018.

Defiance uses Scottish peated malt and a second-fill sherry cask.
