Royal Brackla is a Highland distillery on the Cawdor Estate near Nairn. It is known as the first Scotch whisky to receive a royal warrant, granted by King William IV, which earned it the name The King's Own Whisky. It has been owned by John Dewar and Sons, part of Bacardi, since 1998.
