Reivers: History, Whisky and Visitor Guide

Reivers Distillery is a modern Scottish Borders operation linked with Rare Whisky 101 and the Borders' expanding distilling sector.

Reivers at a glance

History and current status

The distillery uses a small copper pot still and column equipment at Tweedbank. It is an identifiable working whisky production project, but a publicly released mature Reivers single malt range could not be verified as of October 2026.

Whisky distillation, provenance and maturation

Distillate and maturing casks should be distinguished from bottled Scotch whisky. No unrelated brand bottle has been substituted for a real Reivers expression.

Whisky bottles and ranges

Bottles are named only where independently identifiable. Whisky offered by a business may be sourced or blended elsewhere, and the region on a label does not necessarily show where distillation occurred.

No mature bottled whisky made at this specific site was verified. We have avoided inserting an unrelated bottle photo or inventing a release.

Awards and milestones

Only verified, named whisky bottlings should be credited with tasting awards. Site openings, redevelopment and changes of ownership are historical milestones, not medals.

Visitor information

Public visits should be arranged by contacting the operator; the site is not confirmed as a daily walk-in visitor centre.
